This video demonstrates the newest technology in minimally invasive sinus surgery. A balloon catheter is used to open up the drainage passageway to the left sphenoid sinus without causing any mucosal injury. In certain patients, this technique of balloon sinus surgery may be performed in the office without general anesthesia.
