About Shashank Sheth, MD

Dr. Shashank S. Sheth is a board-certified allergist/immunologist and has over 15 years of experience in adult and pediatric allergy and asthma care. He evaluates and treats all types of allergies (environmental, food, drug, and insect) and also specializes in asthma, food allergies, recurrent infections and allergic eczema. 

Dr. Sheth is a South Jersey native. He graduated magna cum laude from University of Pennsylvania, and then attended medical school at Temple University. He completed one year of pediatric internship in Long Island and then internal medicine residency at UMDNJ in New Brunswick. He finished his training in Allergy/Immunology at McGill University in Montreal, where he served as chief fellow. Most recently, Dr. Sheth became a fellow of the ACAAI (American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology). He has published several papers on allergy and has been selected as Top Doc in Philadelphia Magazine, and Top Doc for Kids in SJ Magazine. 

Dr. Sheth has a deep-rooted interest in food allergy, as he has had a lifelong allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. He uses his experiences growing up with food allergies to identify with his younger patients and to help counsel families with food allergic individuals. He now is practicing on the cutting edge of food allergy treatment with new therapies that reduce reactions to certain foods. 

He lives in Moorestown, NJ with his wife, and 2 kids. He enjoys spending time with his kids – coaching robotics, teaching Sunday school and watching Philly sports. He loves spending time outdoors doing various activities including cycling, tennis, skiing. He is also passionate about music, on and off the dance floor!
