About Sarah Savino, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Sarah Savino (Frisina) received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Adelphi University in 2016. She then attended the Long Island Consortium of Audiology which consists of three universities – Adelphi, Hofstra and St. John’s. She graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology from the consortium in May 2020.
Dr. Savino's clinical experience began with in-house rotations at the clinics of the three universities. In addition, Dr. Savino completed clinical externships at Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, ENT and Allergy Associates, as well as Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. In January 2019, Dr. Savino participated in a mission trip to provide hearing health care to the people of Peru. For her fourth-year residency, Dr. Savino worked in the Port Jefferson and Riverhead offices of ENT and Allergy Associates. Through these experiences, she gained the knowledge to work with a variety of populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. She became proficient in aural rehabilitation, audiologic and vestibular diagnostic testing as well as the dispensing of hearing aids.
Dr. Savino is a New York State licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. She is also an active member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
