About Russell Beckhardt, MD, FACS
Dr. Russell Beckhardt, MD, FACS, who was born and raised in Fresh Meadows, NY, is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist and a Fellowship trained Head and Neck Surgeon who has been practicing in the Queens/Nassau area for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton and his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin and went on to complete his Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. Beckhardt serves as Chief of Otolaryngology at Franklin Hospital Medical Center in Valley Stream, NY and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and the American Medical Association along with many other associations. He has published many academic research articles and scientific abstracts, has given presentations and has also received N.I.H. research grants for projects in Radiotherapy and Immunology.
