About Melin Tan-Geller, MD
Dr. Melin Tan-Geller is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has specialty training and experience in voice and swallow disorders. She has published extensively in the field of laryngology and has been an invited speaker and organizer of national conferences regarding voice and swallow disorders. After receiving her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and masters degree at Manhattan School of Music, she received her Medical Doctorate degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Thereafter, she completed her otolaryngology training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary followed by subspecialty training in voice and swallow disorders at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She served on the faculty of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center for many years. Currently, she remains an Associate Professor in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is an active member of the American Laryngological Association, the New York Laryngological Society, the American Association of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the American BrochoEsophagological Association.
