About Kenneth Kaplan, MD

Kenneth A. Kaplan, M.D. grew up in Hewlett-Woodmere, New York and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, then received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. He spent the next nine years at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, receiving his M.D. degree and residency training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Upon completion of his training, in 1996 Dr. Kaplan joined Dr. Jay B. Horowitz, MD in practice, bringing with him his broad-based skills in modern Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery and Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Kaplan maintains privileges at St. Peters University Hospital, and is involved in teaching medical students from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is an attending in Otolaryngology at the pediatric Cranio-facial Disorders Clinic at St. Peter’s University Hospital. Dr. Kaplan has also been active in the New Jersey medical community as a whole, serving as a board member of the Middlesex County Medical Society for the past 5 years, and as a member of the Judicial Committee of the Medical Society of New Jersey for the past 4 years.

Dr. Kaplan’s clinical practice is extremely broad-based, and he cares for patients of all ages. His areas of interest include Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, in which he has incorporated Balloon Sinuplasty® technology when appropriate, as well as middle ear disease, sleep-disorders and evaluations of neck masses.
