About Keara Durand, Au.D.
Keara Durand graduated Hofstra University in 2019 where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences with a minor in Disability Studies. She continued her education with the Long Island Au.D. Consortium, where she attended Hofstra University, Adelphi University, and St John’s University to complete her Doctorate in Audiology in 2023.
Dr. Durand is versed in the clinical assessment of hearing and balance disorders from the pediatric to geriatric population. She specializes in the management of hearing loss in the adult population. Throughout her studies, Dr. Durand was privileged to work in a multitude of settings, providing her rich exposure to the field of audiology.
Dr. Durand spent her life Irish Dancing. She studied to become a certified Irish Dancing teacher and loves to be involved in the traditions of her culture.
She is honored to have found a career and a passion in helping people live their most fulfilling life.
