About Jay Dolitsky, MD, FAAP
Jay N. Dolitsky graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, New York, 1984. He completed two years of residency in General Surgery at the New York University Medical Center and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in NYC. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Dolitsky is member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was selected by New York Magazine in their "Best Doctors" issue in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2003-2014. He was also selected by Castle Connolly as one of "America's Top Doctors" in 2003 through 2010.
Dr. Dolitsky is an Clinical Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at New York Medical College. He was the director of Medical Student Education for Otolaryngology at New York Medical College, 1992-2004 and the Director Pediatric Otolaryngology at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary from 1992-20014.
His areas of expertise include Pediatric Otolaryngology, Otitis Media (middle ear infections), Tonsil and Adenoid Disease, Neck Masses (e.g. thyroglossal duct cysts, branchial cleft cysts), Upper Airway Disorders, Sinus Disease, as well as Snoring and Sleep Apnea. He works closely with our expert Audiology staff to provide the most thorough hearing testing. His practice is limited to children ages eighteen and younger.
