About Emily Norton, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Sophie Racine earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) in June of 2020. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender Studies from Hamilton College in 2013. Dr. Racine obtained her audiological training in a variety of clinical settings, including Montefiore Medical Center, New York Head and Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital, Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, Brooklyn College Speech and Hearing Center, and the Hunter College Center for Communication Disorders. She completed her 4th Year Clinical Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Prior to joining ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP, Dr. Racine worked as a clinical audiologist at Montefiore Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital. She has experience in comprehensive diagnostic testing, electrophysiological assessments (primarily Auditory Brainstem Response evaluations), Otoacoustic Emissions evaluations, and vestibular assessments, for pediatric, geriatric and neurodivergent populations. Dr. Racine has special interest in the management of hearing loss by providing advance hearing aid technology, osseointegrated auditory fittings, and cochlear implant evaluations/fittings, particularly in pediatric populations. Dr. Racine is a New York State and Washington State licensed audiologist. She maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology with the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) as well as American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
