About Edward Rhee, MD, FACS
Dr. Edward Rhee received his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and went on to receive his medical degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. He completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Rhee is board-certified in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Rhee has lectured at local and national meetings. He was also involved with the beta-testing of stereotactic image-guided sinus surgery instruments while in Philadelphia. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American College of Surgeons, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Dr. Rhee has been in private practice in Rockland County since 1998. He has particular expertise in pediatric otolaryngology, endoscopic sinus surgery including in-office Balloon Sinuplasty and Head and Neck surgery with a special interest in thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Dr. Rhee has is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society.
Dr. Rhee has privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital, Hackensack at Pascack Valley, The Ramapo Valley Surgical Center and The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Dr. Rhee is currently Chief of ENT at Good Samaritan Hospital.
