About Edmund Nahm, MD
Edmund A. Nahm, MD is a Board-Certified otolaryngologist who has treated thousands of adults and children with a variety of conditions related to the ear, nose and throat. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Nahm received his Bachelor of Arts from New York University and subsequently completed his premedical studies at Columbia University in New York. He earned his medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he served as chief resident.
His research credentials are impressive, including several years at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he designed a unique Comprehensive Cochlear Implant Questionnaire (CCIQ), a validated quality of life (QOL) instrument assessing bilateral cochlear implants. A recipient of the 2017 Hugh F. Biller Research Award, he has been published widely and has given a multitude of presentations in his fields of expertise.
Dr. Nahm is affiliated with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is also fluent in Korean.
