About Ashmit Gupta, MD, MPH
Dr. Gupta graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received his B.A. in Economics and Biology. He then was awarded his medical degree and a Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H.) in a joint program at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The M.P.H. was an advanced study in administrative medicine and health care management. He served his internship and residency at GWU as well in Otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
Dr. Gupta provides all aspects of ENT medical and surgical care for adults and children, including surgery of the ear, sinuses, and the throat as well as comprehensive pediatric care. He is especially interested in medical and surgical management of the nose and sinuses as well as management of voice and throat disorders.
Dr. Gupta grew up in Moorestown, N.J, and has been around the Philadelphia region most of his life. He and his wife and young son currently live in Philadelphia where they enjoy the city’s parks, museums, and restaurants. In his free time, Dr. Gupta enjoys sports such as golf, tennis, rock-climbing, kick-boxing, and skiing, He is also passionate about his new hobbies of cooking, traveling and playing with his two dogs.
