About Peter Gontzes, MD
Dr. Peter Gontzes is a board-certified Pediatrician and Allergist/Immunologist. He graduated from Stony Brook University with a BA in Biology and then earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Long Island College Hospital Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Gontzes completed his residency in Pediatrics at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center; He also completed his Residency in Allergy/Immunology at LSU Medical Center at New Orleans. He is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Along with Bahna S. L., Dr. Gontzes published “Food Allergy for the Primary Care Physician: In Primary Care” in September 1987. Throughout his career, Dr. Gontzes has been awarded for his dedication to clinical care and has presented his research at national meetings.
