About Isabella Schaefer, Au.D., CCC-A
Isabella Schaefer, Au.D., CCC-A, earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Long Island Audiology Consortium of Hofstra, Adelphi, and St. John’s Universities in May of 2022. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Deaf Studies from SUNY New Paltz in 2018.
Dr. Schaefer gained her experience from a variety of clinical settings including rotations at Hofstra, Adelphi, and St. John’s clinics; ENT Mineola; and Advanced Audiology of NY. She completed her 4th year clinical residency at Northwell Health, Long Island Jewish Hospital, where she evaluated and treated pediatric, adult, geriatric, and difficult-to-test individuals with hearing loss.
Dr. Schaefer is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She also maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Schaefer is experienced in comprehensive audiologic evaluations and proficient in treating hearing loss of all ages with advanced hearing aid technology. Special interests include tinnitus management and ototoxic monitoring.
