About Vishvesh Mehta, MD, FACS
Dr. Vishvesh M. Mehta comes to ENTA from a large practice in New York at the Jamaica Hospital and Medical Center. He received his medical degree in 2000 from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his surgical internship at Downstate in 2001, and served that institution as a Clinical Assistant Instructor as well as Chief Resident. Dr. Mehta has served as attending physician and held several academic appointments at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Kings County Hospital Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital where he received the Outstanding Teaching Award (Department of Surgery) in 2010. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Department of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Mehta is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). In 2009, he traveled to Vietnam on an ENT Surgical Mission through Resource Exchange International.
Dr. Mehta specializes in adult and pediatric ENT. He also has interests in comprehensive medical and surgical treatment of sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea and disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid. He currently is affiliated with JFK Hospital in Edison and Raritan Bay Hospital in Old Bridge.
