About Lawrence Meiteles, MD
Dr. Lawrence Meiteles, a seasoned otolaryngologist/otologist with over 25 years of medical success, comes on board from private practice located in Chappaqua, NY. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Biology and Pre-Health Sciences from Yeshiva University in New York, New York, and his medical degree with special distinction for research in Otorhinolaryngology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Dr. Meiteles then trained in a General Surgery Internship at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, and served his Residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery-for which he was chosen Chief Resident-at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and New York Medical College in New York, New York. He went on to complete a Research Fellowship in Otolaryngology at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute and a Fellowship in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery, both at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Meiteles has been the Medical Director of the Balance Center at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco since 2004. In addition, he serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Neurosurgery and Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Meiteles is affiliated with both Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
