About Andres Lopez, MD
Dr. Andres Lopez completed his medical studies at Universidad LaSalle in Mexico City, Dr. Lopez was chosen as a post-doctoral Fellow in Cancer Immunology and completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh, widely regarded as one of the nation's top otolaryngology programs.
He then completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck oncological Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where, during his tenure, he was selected as a clinical scholar and spent two years developing novel antibody therapies that focus on stimulating the immune system to effectively recognize and combat cancer. He performs surgical cases at Mount Sinai Queens, Beth Israel Hospital and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Lopez is fluent in English and Spanish , treats all aspects of adult and pediatric otolaryngology and has a particular interest in head and neck surgery. He is dedicated to providing his patients with first class care and the latest therapies. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Lopez has combined laboratory research, investigation and discovery along with dedication to attain surgical and clinical excellence. Above all, Dr. Lopez strives to help empower patients with knowledge and choices to provide the best possible care.
